Which version of MapPoint WS does MLS use?

Hi,
As you probably know MLS provides a local web service
(https://.../MMLSService/LocationServer.wsdl) which makes call to the live
MapPoint web services behind the scene. What version of live MapPoint web
service does MLS use (i.e. 3.0, 3.5 or 4)?
if it's version 4, is there any way to use its new features such as
LineDrive maps and Traffic Source data through MLS API? or is that only
possible through a direct web reference to MapPoint web service 4.0 and its
API?

Thanks,
PJ

MLS v1.0 uses (permanently hardcoded) proxy classes of the MapPoint Web Service version that existed at the time MLS v1.0 was developed. Thus MLS
v1.0 is limited to using MWS v3.0 features. In order to use MWS v3.0+ features you need to call MWS directly (outside of MLS). Obviously, this MLS v1.0
limitation is not very desirable so the next version of MLS will have the flexibility to always use the latest and greatest version of MWS.
